Star Cassette is a synthwave band from Stockholm that captures the essence of the ’80s electronic sound. Blending influences from synthwave, retrowave, and dream pop, they create a nostalgic soundscape filled with powerful drums, driving synths, and dreamy vocals — the perfect soundtrack for neon-lit nights.

Their music evokes memories of classic ’80s films and TV shows like Back to the Future, Blade Runner, and Miami Vice, where retro-futurism meets timeless pop sensibility.

The band made their debut in 2018 with the single “Summer Nights,” followed by “Neons” in January 2019. A year later, in October 2019, they released “Malibu,” accompanied by their first music video. After four years of creating music, they finally released their highly anticipated debut album, Sound of the Universe.

2024 marked a new era for Star Cassette as they signed with Blue Lemon Management and launched the singles “Younger” and “Paris.”
